Looking great so far! I wouldn’t have thought to kitbash the goblin sets into Abyssal Dwarfs, but you’ve made it work.

First lot of Berserkers, better WiP of helfane and group shot so far.
Going to be running the army at Southwest Clash in July, so have some sort of target to work towards.

Been musing over various options for gargoyles - looking at enough for 2/3 troops (mmc/pmc) & ba’su’su
Mantic gargoyles - look ok but get a little samey; the basing might fit with the lava if cut some down.
GW warcry - really nice models. The chicken/lizard things they come with can get used in other armies.
GW tryanid gargoyles - pretty easy to get hold of; suitably alien; would need to source close combat arms over the beetle-sprayers™ or whatever the guns are called.
Frostgrave demons - plastic kit and they do metal/3d print wings. Nice models but would look overly armoured for de3
New Mantic NS reapers - swap the rear arm spikes around so pointing backwards and possibly add a bit of ragged membrane etc

Yeah, the vestigial wing vibe of the reapers appealed - plus being multipart plastic they are both really customisable and cheaper than the other options
Different sort of style to my normal run of stuff, so quite fun to do - I’m also planning on keeping this (initially anyway) at a reasonably manageable size!
