Assembling nightstalker reapers is a nightmare!

These might be the worst kit I’ve assembled in some time. Very disappointing.

They’re in the new Champions Kit, the Voidtalon company box. The legs just don’t seem to connect to the bodies very well.

You need to make sure you match the numbers up. They’re still a bit tricky

Yeah, definitely this.

Found them annoying to begin with, but once you get into a rhythm they come together ok. Easiest way is glue one leg on, then while there is still ‘wiggle’ glue the other on so they line up flat.

I’ll post a photo later, but I wound up getting two of them vaguely assembled enough to stand up and then glued the arms onto a bunch of others and stuck them behind a small wall piece of scenery. On the back of the wall I glued a pile of random arms and legs, and I’ll paint this up to look like a bunch of models stacked up.

Stylistically that definitely works!

Yeah, it looks a bit weird in the back but I may stick more terrain back there

If you follow the numbers theyre fine, I’ve done quite a lot of them. If you dont follow the numbers the legs will not “make sense” / align properly.

Yeah the legs were very soft detail and wouldn’t stay in place on most of the models.

Bit like how the riverguard guard models are - there’s a very slight notch where legs fit, but it really isn’t clear.

I ended up filing them smooth for the few that I was able to assemble.

I’m not sure you should be having that level of difficulty, tbh.

What glue are you using?

Revell plastic glue and when that fails me, Gorilla Glue superglue.

Yeah, so long as you dont mix the legs up they’re ok - my son put a load together without too much complaint. I think there might just be a knack for these ones that once you’ve got it the rest are fine. Like enforcer legs! I had my issues with them until i found the “knack”
