Can Mantic please address the lack of mention of the edge of the board in 4th edition? Can your unit hang off the board edge? What happens if you’re wind blasted off the board? The rules no longer cover these.
For clarity, the rules do state that you cannot willingly leave a unit off the table.
But I agree the questions raised are important. Theres also the implication that you can issue a charge and leave the board entirely to move around an enemy unit. which is going to catch people out as a feels bad moment.
Yup, just needs a “the edge of the board is treated as immovable terrain with height infinity. It cannot be crossed unless defined otherwise in the scenario rules”

Seems logical to patch in the rules that were in 3rd, about being allow to pivot outside as long as the unit ended the pivot back on the board etc.
That part is still in the unit interpenatration rule, what’s missing in 4th is the explicit reference to the board edge in the blocking terrain section.

Oh, I see. 
So its turns out the issue is a mismatch between the physical rulebook and Companion. Page 28 of the physical rules states the edge is impassable. Companion does not.
So Mantic, PLEASE sort this out and PLEASE get Companion right

They mentioned very often that the stupid Companion is the holy Bible and everything there is true.
So the bookis wrong.
Although there have been countless changes in the Companion so far, where the book seemed to be right…
It’s been added to the list that the CPG will forward to mantic.
