Presenting: Least used units per army! (from the "Nick dataset")

Stampede never bothered me in that era as I just ran pikes and militia! The first they couldn’t hurt and the second were so sh*te they died being looked at, so all that TC was wasted!

Speaking as a (vaguely experienced) Dwarf player…

|Dwarfs|Greater Earth Elemental|
I like taking one myself, but I guess it’s not surprising that the GEE is here. I assume most players prefer to take the Horde version.

|Dwarfs|Berserkers|
Just a bad berserker-type unit. Shieldbreakers are cheaper and better in the same role as a second line unit.

|Dwarfs|Ironwatch Rifles|
|Dwarfs|Ironwatch Crossbows|
Crossbows are better than Rifles mainly because they’re waste fewer points. Otherwise no surprise here - like alot of 24" shooting infantry in 3rd ed, they just don’t pull their weight. Especially when Dwarfs can just take Sharpshooters instead.

|Dwarfs|Flame Belcher|
These feel pretty hard to justify in an army full of Throwing Mastiffs.

|Dwarfs|Jarrun Bombard|
The Cannon is just better in every way that counts.

Beyond that, the most notable absence here is the Battle Driller. Is it so bad that it was completely forgotten from the list? Or are there players out there who actually like wasting 90pts on these things?

I’m also a little surprised at the absence of the Warsmith. But I’ll admit there might be some value in taking one to babysit a firing line full of Sharpshooters and Warmachines.

There’s something deeply funny about a flamethrower just not being as good as tossin’ some dogs at the enemy.
