V-Dawgs Dorks with bows (and Wip)

This is one of the difficulties with complex bases. Some of the skulks needs to be submerged in water. Not only do I have to create an illusion of a deep water, but I also have to integrate some (if not many) of the skulks into the base before I paint the base and before I do the water. This again mean that I soon have to decide about the painting scheme…

To make matters even worse all of my skulks will be converted from regular orcs, and I am running out of bows and left arms. Luckily the shield arm can be placed so that shield below the water surface (and cut off).

There are some more things to remember too. I need to paint the stones both below and above water in different colours, and the fish… I need to add some vegetation at some point. More skulks also need to be integratet as they come up from the water. And lastly, as i paint all these bases, and the models on them, all the other bases needs to be paintet too, and if i want anything to be submerged on them to, that also need to happen pretty soon.

So I guess I am just hacking and gluing and shaping away at the moment…

Ps: I made a mistake already. Should have glued the orcs down before I added the sand. Oh well…

… And we seem to have some problems with available space…

I’m still thinking about a decent and fun list. Therefore, I’m making more units than I need for 2300 points. This way I can decide to remove the cavalry (bottom left), Orclings (bottom right), Winged Slasher (top left), Wardrum on Chariot (top right) or Gore chariots (top senter). I also have the option of making the center chariot base Gore chariots and the rest (six!) Skulk chariots.

I just want it on record that i think this is awesome! The opposite of an optimised list and a great hobby project.
