4th Edition KoM 2,300 list

Dear All,

Would appreciate everyone’s views on this list. First time making a list for 4th Edition. Usually play Dwarfs, Basileans or Kingdoms of Men but finding my Kingdoms of Men the trickiest to adjust to the new edition.

Many thanks,

Martin

I’m only on the receiving end of KoM lists but this one seems pretty solid.

Who is screening your beast cav? The knights?

Don’t know if one canon will make a difference but it can put some ranged pressure on units.

Thanks. The Knights primarily. I could pontially exchange one of the halberdiers and a magic weapon for light cavalry but have never had much joy with them.

Echo Imp’s comments in part - not sure a single cannon and the 10 shots from the handgunners is really worth it as a shooting investment and your cavalry could do with a screen, even if just a single troop of light cav.

The other thing that stands out is there is no inspiring support for the infantry chunk of the army - the two winged generals will be off, one probably doing his own thing, the other supporting the cavalry?

Would this be better

Or alternatively this?

Personally like the 2 flyer list - gives your oppo more things to think about, even though the extra beast cav reg is the heavier hitter of the two.

I would certainly go double baron on beast. I’ve been toying with a similar list, taking more guns and using the fliers + knights + light cav for the counterpunch:

That said, the double (or even triple) halberdier horde is also very tempting. I’m pondering a list in which all my infantry has a place, taking two hordes spears, two hordes of halberds, one of foot guard and some shooters alongside the double baron on flying beast, several troops of shield wall/halberds and a regiment of fanatics.

It’s just that it’s gonna be very hard to pilot in a tournament session due to the sheer amount of dice/units/

Many thanks.

I haven’t tried a 4 cannon list in a while but it would be fun to see how it goes in this edition.

Multiple halberdier hordes looks interesting as well.
