I know the old Mantic forum had a map with player locations and their details.

Although your question is still rather broad I’ll try to give some suggestions as a still relative new member of the community.
Maybe use a division based on the different elements of the hobby? Like:
Painting, building converting terrain building ect.
Army / model showcases
List building/ tactics
Rule discussions
Battle reports/ narrative campaigns
News/ updates/ rumours
The community side of things : podcasts events ect.
How do others feel when reading through these suggestions?

It’s called ‘Kings of War Forum’. I suggest to keep it a Mantic forum as groups for other games are plenty and it would get confusing and ‘noisy’ with lot’s of other games.
I thought you meant games from other companies. Mantic games are fine! We want to share those!

I have made an effort to clean up a little now by making two large parent categories for Pannithor and Warpath universes.
