You can only ever charge the facing that your leader point is in, and there is no concept of LoS to a facing outside of determining cover. In this situation, it sounds like you’d get the flank charge, but note that if it were impassible terrain instead of a hill, you might not be able to charge at all.

Luke is correct, you have to see the unit you are charging but you don’t have to see the specific facing you will engage, as long as you can manoeuvre into position it is fine
