CoK 2024 book and Abyssal Dwarf Slavedriver

I noticed Abyssal Dwarf Slavedriver does not get Very inspiring in the new Clash of Kings update. Could this be an oversight?
The reason I’m asking is that it seems that taking an Ironcaster in the rolle of a standard bearer is better now.
Ironcaster is cheaper by 5 points, has higher nerve and cheaper access to banechant (20pts upgrade as opposed to lute of insatiable darkness for 25pts)

The only thing Slavedriver has going for him is the Rally 1 for slave units.
So it seems that in an army with no slaves there is no reason to take him anymore.

A slavedriver only being worthwhile to support slave units sounds right to me.

Having an inspiring caster is great and makes it difficult to make other inspiring heroes worthwhile.
I think leaning into theme to give other heroes clear roles for certain builds/themes is the right call design wise.

There seems to be a theme that heroes with Rally tend to not have Inspiring, so that may have been a contributing factor.

Yes. having both is already quite good.
