Hey guys, i am looking to get into firefight next year and was wondering if an all Peacekeeper/Strider list is viable/competetive at all.
Can you give me some insights?

I haven’t played FF yet, but I’m intrigued. The idea sounds really cool!

Yes and no. Its obviously fairly restrictive, but you do have devent shooting and good close combat options within peacekeepers and striders. Thing is, peace keepers are hella expensive, and you need three units of peacekeepers to unlock a strider.

It’s doable, if you use a range of peacekeeper options (phase claws, defender shields, regular peacekeeper dudes), but you are going to be massively outnumbered by everyone, so may struggle for the objectives (which are obviously key to winning).

Firther thoughts are that it is doubling down on enforcer strengths and weaknesses. I feel it would work well for some opposition and some missions, but lacks mobility and model count that will make others tricky

Could be fun to try though!

So it can work but will be hard to master. I am intrigued
What’s the default points for a firefight game? 2k?

1000 is your default for FF, so running Peacekeepers will be very low model count

As @Gerrcinn says, 1000 is common. Sometimes 1250

You’re looking at 7, maybe 8 units (if you go for smaller ones), with one strider being one of the units. Thats for 1250 as well. For 1000 your losing one of these and are down to 6-7 units total. 10+ units is more common for this points level.
