First time Halflings and first time 4th edition
So the idea is mama with the stalwarts and volley gun, the troll with the trolls (duh) and the sergeant with the juggers and flyers.
Any pointers on the list or use of the list?

Looking at the commands. The troll sergeant can’t give any commands to the other trolls since they are large infantry, right?
Yeah, not Infantry and nor do they have Muster or Pride if the Shires traits.
Who knows, some stalwarts might pass by and get a command. It could happen!
Wait… a troll sergeant cant give commmands to troll units? 4th Edition gets more idiotic the more i read about it.
They communicate through hitting each other? Swapping them for a iron beast for now.
A champion who moves trolls to core, and trolls being in core, both feel really strong as it is. It seems fine to me that the trolls don’t have an order to follow beyond unlocking and being trolls!
Oh come on. Gimme one. A re-roll of one missed attack or something small. Pllllease?
This might be the list i go for:
Trolle [2300 / 2300]

If we go up to 2500 Points for 4th Edition i’d give the Engineer Inspiring and then either buy a bunch of items or ad another Troll Regiment.
Iron beasts are inspiring, that will help. Only have one of them…perhaps some day two.
Seems super solid. Despite only having played one game of 4th so far I would definitely say that the Iron Beasts are going to be incredible. Sticky combats and relatively small def6 bases mean that getting things into optimal positions to take out your stuff is really challenging.
Really hard to say how effective the Grenadiers will be. On one hand there will not be as many 1-round combats (big multicharges etc.) that are massively helped by a big Brutal 3 roll and then you whack something off the table and turn to face. On the other hand, smallish-base flyers are really great for getting into the small spaces that those big scrums provide and then you can get brutal d3 where you need it. My last opponent’s drakon lord was great for hopping from combat to combat putting wounds where he needed them, tipping the fight in his favour, and then moving onto the next one.
