Is this now a Web App?

Been running this through an open Chrome tab on the mobile for longer than I care to remember!

Went in just now and got option to open as App.

Everything seems to function perfectly - log-in history etc - so i assume this is an upgrade/alternative that seems to do what it is suppose to do?
