Kingdoms of Men & Brothermark

Finished the second Dogs of War regiment.

Next up some mounted sergeants & scouts (oathmark human cavalry kitbash), plus another interpretation of the Outlaws formation (frostgrave warriors and the rest of the hooded cultist heads)

Mock up for the first of the scouts - oathmark horses are very ‘dynamic’ so work jumping over stuff.

Some of the newly painted stuff will actually be getting a run out at an event next month.

Going to run as Rhordia to allow me a mix of bugs, pigs, emus, halflings and lots of guys with pointy sticks!

Unlikely to be the most sensible list, but i like the idea of a unit with 30 attacks on 2+ with Elite (the angry cultist spearmen a couple of posts up).

You are ahead of me @Sceleris . My Britons that came with my starter set of Hail Caesar Invasion of Britain, are still on their sprues, although i hope to get some done this week as i’ve holidays booked from work. … no pressure.
Given that I’ve bought another Hail Caesar Roman starter set on its way with an additional 124 romans in it, bringing my Roman force to 159 miniatures. As they are coming from the UK, and have now been posted, i probably need to get the Brits started this weekend.

So most of the berserkers (56 of them - 214 reg, 47 troop) have been undercoated and the bases built; the heroes (2 wizards, bsb, fanatic instigator and another fighty character of some description have had some initial work, the shieldwall and archers similar basic progress.

Couple of random posts on FB have given me ideas(!) for more Brothermark/basilea units - Carnevale models from TTCombat for an ur-elohi/Julius stand-in, plus priest/Tolliver and chaplain/paladin; a fan sculpt of a (very) old Breton war altar as part of paladin defenders/oathsworn Guardians unit.

Cheers.

First of TTs Carnevale models I’d pick up (although have the halflings they also make) and are really nice. Will definitely have a browse through the range for other heroes/unit leader types (the two female fighters will join frostgrave females in sisters units)
