I have 2 boys Marcus (11) and Max (8)
Marcus is already a KoW Player, (he is going to his 3rd tournament today) and runs Dwarfs
Now Max is super keen to get involved.
As luck would have it clubmate Jake was getting rid of a lot of Oathmark Elves sprues from a stalled project so I happily took them for Max so we could start his 1st army 
I already have an Autumn themed Sylvan kin army so I thought it would be a good opportunity to make a Winter themed elf force for Max (our surname is Midwinter)
So here are some piccies of what we have been making so far…
BASES:
Snow and Ice… teaching the boy how to make snow with snow flock, white paint, pva & a touch of baking soda.
Ice streams, we used cork base with ice made from 2 part expoxy resin glue (the clear kind)
A dwarf under the ice!!
