Mike's Elf Army Thread - now with new and improved monsters/titans & tournament pictures :-)

Too far for me to drive over casually sadly @bremer1701 and I can t fit in 3 days of absence that week.

Looking great @Mikes

Thanks @Nav , much appreciated!

Also, some impressions from last weekends small Tournament:
(This was 1995 points, so I had to decide what to leave at home when building my list … and finally decided to not leave anything at home except the bolt thrower. Everything else was crammed in into a not so optimal list, but hey … i got to take (almost) everything i painted! , even my Madriga mini, who was assigned to play leader for a Seaguard Regiment.)

Army Display:

1st Battle: The Herd

2nd Battle: Basilea

3rd Battle: Varangur

Despite some horrible battle outcomes for the poor Elves, it was really a blast to be able to take the army out to play. Also a big thank you to my opponents who were all really great and helpful people and very fun to play with. :slightly_smiling_face:

Being awarded “best painted” at the end also made me quickly forget the battle outcomes, so I drove home very happy

Lovely looking army - deserved award mate

Thanks @Nav and @Sceleris, really appreciate it! :slightly_smiling_face:

And good luck on the match @Sceleris!

Thanks @Mikes I brought both KoW and Hail Caesar with me today, in my Romans and Celts to give me more chances of getting a game, but as fate would have it, i ended up playing neither. I did get a game of Black Powder in thought, with a friend’s American Civil war armies, so it was not a wasted journey.
