Orks for V4

Nice - love the old school reference.

I read the book and figured, that I made the right decisin to rebase my Orcs. I like the rules for them. Unfortunately I think that my Gore Riders won’t see many games, as I am going for infantry heavy. That means, that I have to build two more rgimemts of Ax warriors, but who cares? It is a lot of fun

As the latest update here is my second unit of chariots

And I also have a picture of the state of the army so far:

The latest addition is also my first rebased hero: My Army Standard Bearer.

There’s a very nice tournament in Bocksdorf-Austria (Örb wars) which I have visited two times now and plan to visit again coming summer.

The Netherlands has an annual tournament in Dordrecht (Review: Dortsche Krijgsheren 25 – Vince on all things Kings of War), though I happen to know that the 2026 version has been delayed till after the summer months.

Alright. Here it is. The final regiment for my full 2300 points army. If there is better lighting tomorrow, I will try to get another groupshot. There are still some units, that need a new base but I consider the army done.

And the rebasing is basically done. The lighting still is not good but I took some pictures. I hope you enjoy

Integrated basing is so rad, great looking mob of orcs. The Cursed Company is a tasty treat in the mix, love their inclusion as Morax :green_heart:

I finished the big beast‘s base. Its rider got a little bit of new paint. There is almost no Orc left to paint (that is built… Never in my lifetime will I be able to paint those, that are not built yet)

… but you can try.

A beautiful wyvern. I already started teaching my kids the very important cryptozoolgy and told them how to distinguish a dragon from a wyvern (at least following GW rules). If the arms are missing or the wings, it ain’t a dragon. They should know when they face one (when, not if!).

I do think that big flyers could see a comeback this edition, although you normally can’t field 2 of these anymore.

That is very important. Kids these days have no idea what monsters they will face :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I also think there is high potential, especially for this one having 12 attacks

Maybe I will :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Sooo. After having played some games, I am more than happy with my orcs.

The army is basically done, but I wanted something new, so I built a base. As soon as the models are painted, I will post a picture with them.
