Quite like the list.

One thing I’d switch is I’m not sure elite is really worth it for 12 attacks on the Immortals? On average you’ll only get two 1s, and with blade of slashing you can reroll one for 5pts. This leaves you 15pts for Boots on a halfbreed unit?

Yeah blade of slashing was my first pick. Will definitely give the boots a go. Thanks.

Def true. Elite isn’t worth it on a regiment unless its cavalry or beserker infantry with 20 attacks.

For me, one of the reasons to play RS over AD or RK is to take the Gore-Impaler with its crazy Battering Ram rule. Since you already have triple Impalers it was pretty trivial to strip upgrades from the Immortal Guard to pay for the Gore-Impaler … but I got to the point that I was like, why not more Decimators? A unit that can reach out and do things as opposed to just exist like the Immortals without CS? And here’s where I landed:

A little more shooting pressure and the insanity of the Gore-Impaler swapped in for the swinginess of one of the normal Impalers. You have some options with the last 10 points but I’d probably take Pipes of Terror on the Overmaster or purchase a command die if you’re playing with those (and I’m assuming the white dice cost 10 points, I don’t actually know!)

Or turn the decimators into a horde with elite, which gives you an extra 20pts to play with to buff the halfbreeds?

That’s a good call, and an elite Decimator horde is a staple of many AD lists. Good Nv, great shooting, could do some work in combat if called upon.
