Report Errors in 4th Edition Companion here

Elves: Tree herder lacking unit strength.

Can’t upload a proof file but I sent directly to Elliot. Looks like some lists aren’t correctly counting unit strength in the pdf export.

I found a fun one. I don’t actually know if it is an error or a retcon? 3rd Ed introduced “Zuinok Iceblood” as the loner Arkosaur necromancer.

Mantic’s website still has this spelling for the model.

However, both the pdf of the rules I have, as well as the companion has “Ziunok Iceblood”.

All versions of the Salamander’s ‘Fuel for the Fire’ rule show the text for Z’akke’s version, even on the regular Mage Priests.

Forces of Nature: Hydra has disappeared, mixed with the beast of nature’s profile. Problem: hydra was a titan and new beast of nature remains monster. It’s easier to move a beast onto a larger base than to saw a large hydra miniature into pieces to place it on a smaller one. Therefore, it would make sense for the new beast to be of the Titan type. Or at least a ground-based titan that becomes a monster by taking the Fly option.

Is it intended, that there is no option for lists for legendary games (3000+ points, 3+ Battalions, 2 Warlords per Battalion) ?

that is correct, there is only the Mage now instead of the previous Archmage
Archwraith is the Sylvan Kin Warlord

Cheers. Searched for archmage on here and missed it was just the name change. Plus surprised the Archwraith made the cut.

Heya! the app is working great, loving it so far. One small issue I’ve found is that scudku-zluk doesn’t have his spellcaster trait like he has in the book (which would allow him to take librabry spells)

Twilight Kin Phantoms need updated to be heavy infantry to match the nightstalker ones.

Exporting the list as an image clips both the Army name and list name and the points total.

It would be great to at least have the Army name and points at the top like in 3rd Edition version.

Another misspelling (in TR):

It’s gotta be Heartpiercers, right?

Hi, I am really interested if the Northern Alliance - Ice Elemental stats are correct as per the book:
Melee 5+ & Shooting 4+

Seems strangely (un)balanced comparing to 3th edition and other elementals.

I hope this post fits in the topic as well.

It was a conscious balance decision to make the IEs 5+/4+ in v4.

Remember that being given a halt order gives shooting +1 to hit, so they are able to shoot on 3+ and still get surged into combat. If they were me4+ as well they’d be really nasty, not to mention pricy!

Forces of Nature’s Tree herder in Support lacks PU too.

Trident Realms

RIverguard Arbalest should probably be Ht 4.

EDIT: HAS BEEN CORRECTED

Think its Sh value is fine (+1 to hit with Halt), but wonder if it really should have reload - since it’s supposed to be a mobile artillery piece but can’t move and shoot!

Thuul missing the Troop label and US 1 for troops.

Do the Razorswords have the same number of attacks as for spear armed troops and regiments? As shown here they don’t follow the same convention of other units such as skeleton warriors etc.

Think they are almost two different unit types really - me4, de6, Phalanx v me3, de5, cs1 - rather than a simple ‘gain Phalanx and a few attacks’ or gain ‘cs+1 for cs-1’ type swap ups?

Arbalest - book profile is Sh5+ but doesn’t have Reload, which looks like a Companion error.
