Finally getting some basing done! The flash really pops the orange so it’s not quite as stark of a contrast IRL but I’m very happy with how it’s pulling together.
Probably full unit update tomorrow, though I only have enough Void Walkers painted for two regiments so far.

As always I am dreadfully impatient when hobbying so I couldn’t wait until tomorrow to finish these two. Got some more Void Walkers to paint before I can finish the third one though!

Finished up #3 today. I technically have either a 4th regiment or a horde in my 2300 list but I’m holding off on making it until I finalize what I want my list to look like. This will give me a chance to shift into working on my Impalers instead of being stuck doing all of the Void walkers at one time.

Really nice use of colours, both the orange/purple combo and the way they contrast against the plainer but still detailed base to be really legible to the viewer.

I’ve always loved the Warmahordes mini aesthetic and Skorne in particular. I’m happy to keep finding solid homes for the remnants of my Skorne and my friend’s Orboros.

Thanks Sanglorian! I appreciate the thoughtful feedback. I am really glad that the plan seems to be working out. I feel like I never know from the concept>execution phase if the ideas/colours etc. will come across the way I’ve envisioned it.
