Looking at Northstar’s Snakemen, they look like they are big enough to be a good substitute for Salamanders. Bonus is the kit comes with a plethora of weapon options, so can field all the unit options. I have used their Gnolls for my Herd force, and they work very well. Has anyone else tried this kit? As much as I like the Mantic Salamanders, they don’t have the full options, and aren’t as cheap as these guys… ok, Snakes aren’t lizards, but they are close enough. Also, their shields have a Roman Legion vibe to them, which gives them a unique look.

They are a nice kit - I used mine as the old Embers Dance as I thought they would be easy to model - checkout my blog for a bit more detail
They are nice models but slimmer than GW or Mantic as they are snakes.
