I appreciate that you’re sculpting your bases, it’s the hard mode way to base but I dig the result (and that you have loads of control over it, as compared to more random flocking methods). I did find when I sculpted bases that I either got some warping of the MDF (when I used to use thinner MDF) or the sculpey itself would shrink a bit, leaving cracks at the sides in particular :disappointed_relieved:

Using plasticard and cork sheeting, with tile grout over the top (which dries with a little bit of flex in it, unlike regular filler).

The clear pva is doing the type of job i wanted for the water effect, without being too fiddly - unlike 2 part resin or pricier options such as woodland scenics.

Next finish stuff and a slightly left field option for a wyrmrider horde.

Mock up of Dambuster sentinel and Dambuster arbalest conversions (aka I’m trying to squeeze a horde, a reg, the hero and the bolt thrower out of 6 frogs and spares!).

My wyrmrider horde is one big crab too, so count me a fan :+1:

Keep up the great progress, army is looking very full!
