Hi guys hope you can help. I have for the longest time wanted to build a list for ogres centered around a Chariot Warrior Legion but I am just useless at lists can any of you help.

Are there other models or units you’re trying to use too? The Ogre meta is no longer solved, which is cool but means you’ve got a pretty open field of dudes to run alongside your 300+ point pain train …

Well I did have a crazy Idea I currently have 4 boxes of atlantic Landsneckt ogres and I worked out I could get a legion of warrior chariots, 1 legion warriors, 2 hordes warriors, 2 regiments Boomers, and convert one to a standard bearer and a chariot troop of boomers with the sacred horn to give the stealthy aura

Nice! I wouldn’t run both a warrior legion and a chariot legion in the same list, since both need quite a bit of babysitting and balancing both the enormous frontage of the warriors and the enormous flanks of the chariots seems like a bad time

Lots of Ogre Good Stuff in here, especially the heroes, and I think having a horde of siege breakers around to carry tokens and open up heads is still relevant. The army has a lot of Merc in it to power up Noms and enjoy the sarge’s rally, and of course the chariot legion is there to draw a lot of attention (and hopefully ruin somebody’s day in the process). I wasn’t sure about items but went for the boots to ensure the one charge it might get to make is at least unhindered, but expect it to be chaffed to hell most games.

FWIW, I really like warrior chariot regiments, when it comes time to saw the legion in half 
In my opinion they’re the best carts in the game (Me 3+ and H4 and now they also have rampage available!)
This list came 2nd (on kill points) in a 40 player one day event at beginning of the year.
[Note that Chris is very, very good with virtually anything, so player skill might help more than the list itself!]

Quad legion!!! Holy hell, that’s some beef. 8 drops but all killer, no filler.
I do think the Redeploy probably shouldn’t be allowed on legions - even at 20pts a unit it seems a massive bargain given the impact they can have.
