Is there anything that effects „Throwing Mastiffs“ hit on 4+?

The rules say that they always hit on 4+ and that‘s how I have played them regardless of cover, moving or individual special rules.

Today my opponent said that they would be affected from cover and moving so I would hit on 6+. But he was not sure where he saw that exception so we played it that they hit on 4+.

“Always hits on a 4+” means exactly that.

Direct your opponent to the dictionary definition of ‘always’…

Is the opponent your friend? If he isn’t you might wanna consider murder, if he is your friend you might wanna consider ‘cold-blooded’ murder.

Just messing around.

But yep “always” means “always” no exceptions.
