Apparently the tree herder gets surge for free. Still a great unit even without the surge.

How do you know its free? Where is the math? Im not doubting you- but have you worked it out?

I’ve since compared the Treeherder ( 260 ) to the Greater Earth Elemental ( 230 ) and the Treeherder does seem a good deal and Surge may indeed be free.

Maybe you take any information posted as truth without any link or anything to back it up. I don’t. A simple link to the relevant info / or copy/paste would have been more helpful than your comment.

I also dislike random “RC said so” comments BUT at the same time it can be hard to find and link to information which one has seen in other places. Like facebook.

Edit: The answer is buried somewhere on Facebook, but it is that the RC stated Surge on the Tree Herder is free. I don’t have a particular quote for you as it is annoying to search out specific replies on Facebook especially with how many KoW groups there are, but it’s out there.

Random rule/update/clarification/etc posts on social media are a pain point for the wider community. If only there was a forum for such things… LoL

Maybe it’s time to end this rather pointless and off topic discussion. Unverified infos are useless for tournament players, but no reason to lose temper. Just write where you read it and/or ask/answer politely. This is an incredibly polite forum and I hope it stays that way.

Agreed. I also think the discussion deteriorated quite a lot from the original topic and a release of Uncharted Empires is no news any more. It would be best if the thread was closed. If anyone wants to discuss (in a polite manner) the effectiveness of some units there are other places on the forum to do so.
