What ist the (new) standard army size?

I was wondering what the new standard army size will be in 3rd edition?
In the 2nd I attended game days and tournaments that differed quite a lot. Most common were 2000, 2250, and 2500 point games.

What so you think which army size will be ‘standard’?

The book says 2000 as a baseline I think

As Fred says the book suggests 2000 points but the playtesters felt that 2200-2300 might be the best choice.

Then I will put together 2000 point lists for the beginning and see where the journy ends…
