Yeah the Thunderseers only having Crush 1 is kind of weird, especially next to the profile for the spellcaster with 2.

More hit than miss on the miniatures in my opinion.
Some of the character models leave me cold. My decades old hate of that style more than anything - especially the silly oversized weapons.
The beast miniatures I think we’ll be seeing heavily featured in many a conversion. Some of them are top notch disregarding - again my personal taste - the riders.

The evil tortoise (or stag beetle?) seems out of place
(looks too insectoid - more of a sci-fi vibe especially with the electricity)

I love these manticores! Now I don’t know why I don’t like the cav version…
My issue may be that I haven’t seen them all ranked up together.

Alternate bugs are very easy to find, but I really like the elemental angle and that feels more relevant.

Preorder in, should be with me on Thurs 11th (nannyogg999). Interested to see the updates and lists in their entirety. Bought the book as I thought it would be too difficult to absorb the changes via EasyArmy.

As they’re bulky, squished together all you get is a wall of shoulder pads/armour - I reckon they’d look a ton better with a touch of space between the minis.

Building Arkhan’s manticore and converting it into a chimera was one of my first big hobby projects. He got a head swap and became a Dark Elf sorcerer.

I think you’ll love it since you use the exact models, its a drakon lord and 2 drakon regiments which get nimble! Drakon lords got 10 pts cheaper too.

Oh sweet, so I’m not mounting my coolest Lord miniature to my Gladestalker base… that’s what I was hoping for! Hell yeah, hope my book crosses the sea soon.
