Halflings

Really like how the army and conversions have turned out. I think the grenadiers look great (and more plausible than Mantic’s) - but I’m not sure the balloons look secure enough. A piece of string around the horizontal circumference or the seam of the ball painted as more rope would completely sell the idea to me.

Last of the units done - two regiments of aeronauts

Will look to pick up the greedyguts/sauceror/Feastmaster set and possibly a second harvester - but basically the army (approx 5k) is finished.

Will get some group shots together in due course.

Group shot of the (for now) completed halflings

Another great looking army - I honestly prefer it to Mantic’s.

My output over the same time frame as this project has been paltry. V impressed by the sustained hobbying.

Sounds like halflings are getting some early love in v4, being one of 4 armies in the first faction book (along with the mystery army, Salamanders and Trident Realm).

Had a second iron beast lying around, so thought I’d get some paint on it. Will see how the army shapes up before going crazy and painting a bunch of units blind (erm, like the army started in the first place!).

Not using a troll. Inconceivable. If I know what that word means…
