Nightstalkers & Twilight Kin

Cheapest real option looks like skiff captain, 2 boat regiments, reg of ensnare girls and weavers?

Phantoms, butchers as specialist; Voidlurker, Mindscreech support and a navigator

Second battalion starts with fleetwardens & impaler soulbane; couple of impaler units and a crone.

No idea of points, but that’s sort of what I’d look at initially

Sounds really fun. I’m really curious to see how the battalion system shakes out and what works for a reasonable points level. I haven’t even considered what I would take to start looking at a second battalion. It’s too bad that we don’t seem to have any decent auxiliary chaff. I know that phantoms were super good (probably too good?) but a 20 pt. jump at the troop level should’ve sorted that out enough to keep them out of the specialist section that’s already bulked out with choices that you want all the time.

Think that’s going to be a wider issue for armies collectively - most light cav and flyers are specialist units, so a couple of troops of them as chaff limits some of your heavier hitters.

Might be of the balancing factors will how people build armies, esp if trying to squeeze a second battalion in so you can get access to a couple more specialist options.
