This is alright in October, rather than November, as that’s when the work was mainly done, but they are now ‘battle ready,’ if not fully painted with the finer details.

Celts (Herd)

and Romans (KoM or maybe Free Dwarfs)

although the Roman units are currently in battle lines, they are fully adaptable to KoW regiments/hordes /legions,

More Skorneforged (thanks @Boss_Salvage )Orcs!

Still lots of work to do but I’m happy with how they’re coming along. This first regiment of Riftforged Legionaries are/were Skorne Cataphract Incendiarii with their arms swapped with Praetorian swords and Karax shields.

The second regiment (not pictured) should be vanilla Cetrati. They’ve got polearms but they’re pretty short so I don’t think they’d be mistaken for phalanx.

So it’s November already … but what kind of November? Neat? Naughty? Novel Mini November? Somehow I can’t think of a good thread name this month

“No-vember” for everyone whose hobby plans for the year are rather under cooked!

Mhh make that “Noooooo-vember” ?

Still want to paint that Dragon before the year is over… :flushed:

Noooooo-vember it is! For all those, like me, who still hope to paint something by the end of the year!

I’m painting Celts, so that one is a given. They were famous for their hairy catapillars lips.

Rad arm swap, never thought of that but the end result is quite nice

Thanks! It was lots of chopping and shaving to get the old bombard/flamethrowers off and the arms at the right angle. The swords themselves are a little plain but they did the trick.

Thanks @Nav ! Still painted them rather quickly, but am very happy with how they turned out. I’ll leave them off the movement tray until the end of the week until the varnish is all dried through. Then I’ll probably make some full army pics
