adding on to my above question,

another player interpreted the yielding rules as:
Both friendly and enemy units can always choose to ignore this unit, just as if it was not there, when

• moving and
• shooting (even if Engaged with it).
  The portion of (even if Engaged with it) qualifier only referring to the shooting portion. Based on this interpretation, that means if a unit is engaged with a yielding individual, is still considered engaged, means it cannot move or charge away freely, and must halt, reform, or withdraw.

Would like to see clarification on this interpretation, and whether ultimately a unit may ignore a yielding individual when moving, even when engaged with it.

With your permission, I will copy your post and add the following to the same topic with an example:

A dragon charges a Yielding hero.

In the Shooting phase:

Q1: Could the dragon shoot at the same hero?
Q2: Could it shoot at another unit within its shooting range?

Then, in the Combat phase, it would fight the hero normally.

(When referring to a dragon, I mean a unit that can shoot, such as a boomer).
