Not according to EasyArmy, which lists other things that are 25mm as such (Orcs, etc). The dryad models 90% of people use were on 25mm for WHFB tho ![]()
Forces of Nature preview:
So I noticed that the Avatar of the Green Lady didnât have Yielding or Mighty. First typo of new edition? LoL
I noted it too but considered it all right. Is it not that all individuals are considered Yielding as far as they are not Mighty. I mean it is sufficient to have only the Mighty ability specified, there is no need to specify Yielding if the individual is not Mighty. Though, I may be wrong, will check the other already known individual profiles âŚ
Just checked The Wiz, also absent of both rules. Yielding must be a nested rule within Individual. I am fine with this.
Indeed, I also checked the recent Mantic blog article:

Iâm so happy that a silly Banner bearer canât routinely block my Soul Reaver cav anymore. They have to earn it.
PS: Hoping that Soul Reaver cav are still top notch hammers in 3rd.
Yeilding is the default. If it doesnât have MIGHTY listed then it is Yielding.
Vampires are Mighty.
I might experiment with solo vampires in 3rd.
So long as your Soul Reavers arenât disorderd. If that Banner Bearer manages to run in an hit on of the Vampires hard enough with his flag to do a point of damage, theyâre going to have to pay attention to him! ![]()
Thatâs fine. He earned the right to be a speed bump at that point. Unlike the entitled 2nd Ed banner bearers.
If I get this right, yielding characters can still block a charge if they stand relatively close to their unit, as the attacking unit will need to position itself completely out of the yielding characters footprint.
Itâs more complicated to do, but still possible isnât it?
Yes, but you risk that the character will be charged, killed and then there will still be a possibility of an overrun into your âshieldedâ unit. I guess in most situations the charging unit will also be able to complete its charge move with one pivot (or 2 if Nimble) going around the individual. However, you are correct that in some situations the proposed tactics can still work.
Yeah, it is still possible, but VASTLY less reliable. Depending on the charging unitâs depth, you can often force them to roll a 5 or 6 on the overrun, but itâs still a risk. The pivot is the other big thing - non-nimble units only get one pivot, so it was generally impossible to navigate around something 1" in front of you, but the further away the blocking individual is from the charger, the more favourable the âcone of threatâ becomes.
If they do a point of damage to you they will, so now you have to attack with yielding characters and hope!
There are options for blocking with yielding. Althought it will be closer to the target unit. The charging model needs to be able to place somewhere. So killing the character may be necessary and then go for the overun. Use of the board edge and terrain will have a connection.
I havenât seen it yet, so I donât know if we learn anything new.
screenshot of the pannithor map shown⌠sadly they didnât give a good close up of the âpre-floodâ map, or iâd be posting it as well.
looks like theyâve actually name dropped a bunch of kingdoms (including a few on places my own planned army backgrounds involved⌠ah well, i knew iâd have to rewrite a bunch anyway)

Loving the maps. Any thoughts on the elohi nerf. People are going crazy over them losing TC1 but dropping 30 points.
The maps look really good. Looking forward to reading more about the different regions.
